Currently, Mark Bylkas serves as the Corporate Technical Trainer for the Southern Region at Horizon Services, where he leads training and development for a team of 172 skilled professionals, including plumbers, electricians, HVAC installers, and service technicians. Mark’s role involves certifying employees in advanced systems such as Daikin S&T, I&C, and Maxipro, ensuring that his team remains at the forefront of industry standards. Mark’s entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of Treehouse Services, which he successfully managed for over 22 years. As the owner, Mark Bylkas oversaw HVAC, plumbing, and electrical operations while leading his teams to adapt to evolving technologies and industry advancements. Mark’s commitment to innovation and excellence extended to the property management side of the business, where he optimized key performance indicators (KPIs) and earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITA). Earlier in his career, Mark Bylkas served as Service Manager at Stan Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, where he played a critical role in training HVAC technicians and installers. He ensured seamless service delivery by effectively scheduling workloads and aligning jobs with technician expertise. Additionally, he demonstrated his business acumen by managing budgets and balancing income and expenses to drive profitability on the service side of the business.
